Collecting is a deeply personal experience, a form of cultural stewardship and an opportunity to participate directly in art history. Our increasingly connected, youthful and global art world presents incomparable opportunities to both seasoned and beginning collectors. In these exciting times I offer my insight, advice and counsel to a diverse roster of clients in order to thoughtfully meet the needs and scale of their individual ambitions. I work with those who have spent decades building important, carefully researched collections and, at the same time, I enjoy the thrill of guiding first time buyers. My expertise extends well beyond the transaction to collection management, appraisals, or consignments for sale. In my practice, I draw on an international network of highly regarded professionals in the fields of conservation, research, documentation, design, photography, framing, insurance, shipping, and installation. My clients’ genuine appreciation, knowledge, and insight inspires me daily.

Strong curatorial work preserves the history of art and identifies important, emerging philosophies and artists. I have had the great privilege to collaborate on projects with artists, curators and writers whose brilliance and work ethic are the heartbeat of the business: They bring the experience of art to life for their audiences. These partnerships have yielded ground-breaking exhibitions, provocative thematic shows and in-depth explorations of individual artists’ work. Teaming with painters, sculptors, their estates and leading scholars, I build platforms and forums for discussion and reassessment. I look forward to seeking out and cultivating relationships with those who share my eagerness to break new ground.
Based in New York, I am an art dealer, curator and advisor. With confidentiality and discretion, I engage in long-term planning with collectors, artists and artists’ estates and serve as advisor to the Estate of Stuart Davis. Guided by their specific aesthetic, interests and goals, I collaborate with a select group of private collectors to build significant collections. I provide strategy, marketplace objectivity, negotiate purchases, bid at auction and perform due diligence.
In addition to my role as advisor, I am active as an independent curator. Recent projects include The Enormity of the Possible (2017) and Lines Thicken: Stuart Davis in Black and White (2018), both held at Kasmin Gallery. Following graduation from Northwestern University, where I now serve on the Advisory Committee to the University’s Block Art Museum, I completed graduate studies in art history at Williams College. Since 2011 I have been a board member at SculptureCenter in Long Island City, a game-changing institution that funds innovative developments in contemporary art. I have juried numerous exhibitions, taught art history, participated on panels, published essays, and was awarded a Kress Foundation Grant. I live in the heart of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn—a vibrant community where I’ve had the pleasure of raising two children.
